The closest Mr. Eel and I could probably get to being on TV would be as extras on Hawaii Five-O. Our wedding video will be our first time on a big?(television) screen.?Since we’re not experienced with being in front of a camera, we knew we needed a videography team that could transform nothing into something. Mr. Eel and I do not kid ourselves into thinking we are professionals at anything other than being the silly couple we are.

At first I actually thought videography was an expense we could cut. How often would we watch our wedding video anyway? I talked to a lot of our married friends, and of those who’d hired a videographer, absolutely none of them regretted the additional expense. Of those that hadn’t hire a videographer, however, a lot of them regretted not having one. The kelp that broke the Eels’ backs was?Mr. Eel telling me?having a videographer was important to him. That’s settled, then—a videographer we will have! But who do we hire?

Enter: Aria Studios. I had seen their work at a friend’s wedding and immediately fell in love with their style. Their videos tell a story of the wedding day rather than a compilation of clips from the day edited together. Seeing Aria’s work convinced?me that we absolutely needed videography on our wedding day.?I didn’t want to limit myself and made sure to do my due diligence in researching other videographers.?Honestly, nothing came close to?our?love for Aria; I knew?we needed to book them immediately.

We met with Kolby, one of the owners of Aria. She was so sweet and made us feel further confident about our decision. Aria Studio’s services are a la carte as opposed to packages, meaning we could hire them for the specific services we wanted. It was like the Build-a-Bear of wedding vendors.

We decided on six hours of videography where we would get all our raw footage, and a three-to-five-minute highlight film. There are other add-on options we are considering post-wedding,128期马报开奖结果, such as a ceremony and reception edit where Aria will take our raw footage and edit it together into a watchable video. Other add-on options include a same-day edit and short film (longer than a highlight film, approximately seven to nine minutes).

If we had an unlimited budget, we would have definitely hired Aria to do a “love story” edit. This is where they interview the couple and some of their friends and family to tell the story of how the couple met, their childhood,tv.duowan.com, and what they were like as children. The?interviews are then edited with childhood pictures into a?video story to be shown during the reception.?It’s the modern day version of a baby-picture slideshow. Unfortunately, Mr. Eel and I are not Brangelina and?could not find room in our budget to do this.

Love story or not, Mr. Eel and I feel very fortunate to have Aria Studios at our wedding. We can’t wait to see our wedding video and hope they capture all our silly (and not so silly) moments!

Are you hiring a videographer for your wedding? How did you choose?
